Salvage Shift - Free Prototype
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Cut. Salvage. Upgrade.
Salvage Shift is a small 2D ship-salvage game in development. Cut the connections holding a wreck together, pull loose components into your salvage bay, and spend your earnings on better tools.
Three jobs to try
The free v0.2 prototype includes a spine-shaped ship, a cargo ring with alternate support connections, and a fuel hauler with volatile tanks. Preserve intact parts for better returns, or take risks with faster dismantling. Six upgrade purchases gradually change how you cut, collect, and sort salvage.
An early prototype
This is not the finished game. The visuals are simple code-drawn shapes, and the content is limited to three jobs. Windows and macOS builds are available, with English and Simplified Chinese interfaces, mouse and keyboard controls, and local saves. There is no public Steam store page yet.
Development disclosure
Much of the code and implementation was produced with AI assistance. The game visuals are drawn in code.
